St Edward's Church recently supported the local Harvest Appeal. As you will see from the attached photo, we helped to create a wonderful ‘Mountain of Blessings’.

In total Collier Row and Romford Food Bank collected 2904.55kgs of food which is enough to stock the foodbank for approximately 5 weeks and will feed about 150 families of 4 people. We are so proud to be able to support this fabulous project!

St Edward's Church welcomes Father Jordan

8 July 2025

Our service was held on 3rd July where the community welcomed Father Jordan to Romford. This service is both a legal act and an act of worship. It marks the beginning of the ministry of Jordan and a new stage in the life of our Parish. We joined with the Bishop, and Patrons of the Parish in joyful anticipation of the years ahead. Some of the features have their origins in the Middle Ages, others are relatively new.

As our previous Youth Worker, we are very excited to welcome Jordan back home!

Everyone gets involved at St Edward's!

29 January 2025

We have been trying new ways to involve the children in the congregation so they really feel welcome at St Edward's. This can include them taking the offertory, helping out with taking the Elements as well as sharing their work at the end of the service. This weekend we tried to be even more inventive with our youngest bellringers giving it a go! As you can see from their faces they loved the experience.
