Welcome & Weekly News

Welcome to St Edward’s website!

We aim to be a church where everyone’s welcome. On a daily and weekly basis throughout the year, we offer opportunities to connect with one another and with God because we know the transforming power of God’s grace in His Word, the Sacraments and Community.

There are opportunities to join in, to make friends, and seek God, wherever you are on life’s journey through:

  1. Services on Sundays and through the week

  2. Life events such as Baptisms, Weddings & Funerals

  3. Lots of opportunities for young families

  4. Visiting our church for prayer and reflection through the week (we’re usually open 0830-1730)

  5. The Phoenix Club for retired people

  6. Parish social events, BBQs, the Christmas & Summer Fairs, Table-Top Sales

The church owns major social facilities at the Wykeham Centre adjacent to the church. Our facilities  are available for meetings, parties for adults or children, or other social events. See the Wykeham Centre icon for details.

Finally, please take the opportunity to browse through these pages to gain an insight into what’s going on. Above all, we hope that you will find St Edward’s a place to encounter the mystery of God, receive His blessing and make friends.

All good wishes,
