The PCC produces an Annual Report reflecting the activities of the Parish Council for the preceding financial year. An Annual Parochial Church Meeting is held to coincide with the delivery of the report and all church members are invited to attend. The date of the 2019 APCM which usually takes place in April has been postponed several times during Covid-19 lockdown, but the Parochial Church Council (PCC) has made the decision that the APCM for 2019 will be held on Sunday 4th October, immediately following the 10.00am Service. The APCM can only be attended by those who are on the Electoral Roll.

At the APCM elections will be held for up to 8 new PCC members and 4 Deanery Synod representatives. The PCC are the trustees of the charity which is St. Edward's Church and govern the church with the Vicar and churchwardens. The Deanery Synod governs the Church of England in the Deanery of Havering and in turn elects members to Diocesan Synod.

Please think and pray about whether you would make a good addition to the PCC (Deanery Synod members also sit on the PCC). We have vacant spots but there is no particular reason to fill every spot. PCC membership is a serious commitment and requires time and energy to support the mission and ministry of St. Edward's as well as helping out with the practical aspects of running our church.
